Magmatic Platinum Group Element Environments in Canada: Present and Future Exploration Target Areas represents the work presented by GAC Howard Street Robinson Lecturer Larry Hulbert during his nationwide tour in 2002.
Employed since 1984 with the Mineral Deposit Research Division of the Geological Survey of Canada, Hulbert has been conducting research on the Metallogeny of Mafic-Ultramafic Rocks and associated Ni-Cu-PGE mineralization. His prior work includes as a mine and exploration geologist in the Lynn Lake Nickel Camp of northern Manitoba, as well as working with mapping parties for the Saskatchewan Geological Survey and the Geological Survey of Canada.
In 1993, he was the recipient of the Barlow Medal from the CIM, and in 2002 was named the GAC Howard Street Robinson Lecturer. His popular presentations as lecturer formed the basis of this CD.
