The premier annual geoscience conference in Canada over the last 30 years has been organized by the Geological Association of Canada (GAC®), in concert with the Mineralogical Association of Canada (MAC). The two associations have long enjoyed a close relationship, and have united Canadian earth sciences annually at GAC-MAC, a formal gathering of the best geological minds in the country.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: GeoConvention 2020 organizers have postponed the conference to August 31 – September, 2020.
Stay up-to-date by visiting the GeoConvention 2020 website.
GAC would like to thank all those who have been involved in organizing the various aspects of the GeoConvention 2020 meeting so far, as well as all of the participants and supporters for their patience as we navigate through this unexpected situation.
We also would like to echo the recommendations of the GeoConvention organizers that all participants suspend making travel arrangements at this time.
