This 56 page soft-covered volume presents the proceedings of the 12th Canadian Paleontology Conference (CPC-2002) at the Geological Survey of Canada in Ottawa, Ontario. The volume is a departure from earlier numbers in that presenters were encouraged to submit short papers or extended abstracts of up to five pages in length, including figures. Topics in this set of 26 papers includes the first known post-Ordovician naraoiid arthropod from the Silurian of Ontario, a juvenile Corythosaurus from Alberta, conodont biostratigraphy, Arctic Islands, paleoenvironments in the Liard Basin, western Canada, Anticosti Island graptolites, Western Canada Sedimentary Basin Cambrian and Ordovician sequences.
